Australian Childhood Immunisation Register

Printer-friendly version

Since 1st January, 1996, all children registered with Medicare have had their vaccination details recorded on the Immunisation Register.

A doctor or clinic must send details to the register for a child to be included. They can also, with parental consent, obtain information about a child’s immunisation.

At the ages of one, two, and five parents will receive a history statement which details all vaccinations received by their child so far. Parents can request a record by visiting the Medicare website or calling 1800 653 809.

Information can also be found at Immunise Australia Program or the Immunisation Infoline on 1800 671 811.
