And the winner is...!

After an exhaustive selection process of over 1000 nominations, the national winners of Australian Family Child Care Awards were announced on Friday 30th April at a gala Awards Ceremony in Sydney. Judges were thrilled by the high calibre of each the state winners, commenting how difficult it was to separate each of the state winners to find the eventual national winner in each category.

MC Natalie Barr, a born and bred West Australian, was thrilled when WA came up trumps in three of the four award categories.

National Child Care Director of the Year was won by Nerida Campbell of Bright Start Child Care Centre, Katanning, WA

National Children’s Service of the Year was won by Little Angels Day Care Centre in Bunbury, WA

National Rising Star Award winner was Tiffany Wylde of Stratton out of School Hours Care, Stratton, WA

And finally South Australian child care educator, Glen O’Brien of Renmark Child Care Centre won the title of National Child Care Worker of the Year.
